My experience on my foundation course so far!
I started my foundation course last week! I had my first class and a photo studio session. It was my first time using a studio, and I learned a little about their cameras. This course has many opportunities to explore creativity and learn new things you have never done before. This will equip me with better skills to meet the study requirements I need for the next level. Everything was new to me, I was feeling nervous at the beginning, not knowing what to expect, and the teaching style was different from what I was used to. Once I started the course, and the tutors explained what we were working on, I felt more at reassurance knowing what to do. I enjoyed using the photo studio for the first time. It was cool. Getting my artefact object for the project and photographing it was exciting, learning how to use the cameras, adjust the lighting, etc. It was beneficial learning at our induction session about the photo studio before starting to take pictures because I got familiar with how to use the objects. But I need practice learning to take good angles. The results of the pictures turned out good, and it was what I was looking for, and I was pleased. This session helped me learn new ideas and experiences for, later on, it turned out better than I expected. I knew that exploring new things and trying them out for the first will make you realize that you might enjoy it and be good at it. I used to think that new situations and learning new things are scary, but now I think it makes you who you are and grow from it. From now on, I will be more open to new experiences and learning more about myself and not have to achieve everything overnight and be willing to keep learning.
